WILLIAM A FORSYTHE

William A Forsythe is an internationally sought after choreographer and director. He has worked in theatre, concerts, film, television, special events and every other conceivable area of the Entertainment Industry both nationally and internationally.

William is highly regarded when it comes to creating live performances and so it comes as no surprise that many artists and clients come back to William time and time again when they have a major world event to create. Concert Credits include: So You Think You can dance Tour (2008 & 2009); Cliff Richard – Motown Tour; Cliff Richard-50 Years Celebration World Tour; Cliff Richard-Here & Now World Tour 2006/07; Cliff Richard-Castles Tour (UK & Edinburgh Castle); Cliff Richard Live at The Royal Albert Hall; Cliff Richard-Wanted World Tour 2004; Kylie Minogue’s Intimate and Live World Tour; Long Way To The Top Australian Tour; Australian Idol Winners Tour 2004 & 2005 (Co-Director); Nikki Webster’s UK, Australian & European Promotional Tours; The Centenary of Federation “A Capital Celebration” in Canberra; Premiers Concert (2004- 2011) & the “Tour of Duty” in Dilli, East Timor starring Kylie Minogue and John Farnham.

In addition to this William has choreographed some of the world’s biggest televised events seen by billions around the world. Special Events (Televised) include: Closing Ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympics (2 major segments: Dancing Queen & On A Night Like This for Kylie Minogue as well as Surf Life Savers); Opening Ceremony Paralympics 2000 (Kylie Minogue-Spinning Around & Celebration); Goodwill Games; Opening of Fox Studios Australia (Kylie Minogue, Tina Arena, Hugh Jackman, Shirley Jones, Human Nature & Marcia Hines); Australian Idol Grand Final Concert at The Sydney Opera House; NRL Grand Finals (Artistic Director 5 years working with Hugh Jackman, Caroline O’Connor, Meatloaf, Kelly Clarkson, Jimmy Barnes & the Hoodoo Gurus); Mushroom Concert of the Century (Kylie Minogue-MCG); Other Special Events include: Opening Extravaganza of Cairns Reef Hotel Casino (Dame Edna Everage & Judi Connelli); CLSA Hong Kong (Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Fergie, Elton John, Deborah Harry, Shaggy, INXS, Macy Gray, James Brown & numerous special one-off performances for Dannii Minogue, Boy George, Thelma Houston, Tina Arena, Chaka Khan, Marcia Hines, John Paul Young, Christine Anu, Jimmy Barnes and Toni Pearon.

William easily adapts to every situation and whether it be huge world wide events or more intimate moments in theatre he is highly regarded as being the top of his game. Theatre Credits include: Playing Our Song (Ensemble Theatre starring Georgie Parker & Simon Bourke); Derrida in Love (Ensemble starring Jacki Weaver); Ladies Night (Star City); Firefly Magic 1 & 2 (Cairns Reef Casino); Madam Firefly (Cairns Reef Casino); Mysterium (Cairns Reef Casino); Theatre of the Deaf; The World Goes Around (Tina Cross); The Phantom (Theatre of the Deaf); Halloween Trick or Treat (Entertainment Centre) and the Official Tribute to the Blues Brothers. Other Credits include: DVD Launch of Baz Lurhman’s Moulin Rouge; 13 years as resident choreographer/director for Grayboy Entertainment creating and setting up shows for numerous cruise lines around the world; Dance productions for Nightclub 1936 (Cairns Reef Casino); 5 years as resident choreographer for Millennium Entertainment creating shows for Asia and the Middle East; Resident choreographer for Warner Bros Movieworld, Sea World & Australia’s Wonderland; Corporate Events for McDonalds, Toyota, CSLA & Macquarie Bank; Advisor for The Musical Theatre Project Australia & trade and hair shows too numerous to mention.

William became one of the Directors at ED5International in 2006 and finds immense pleasure in teaching and imparting his years of knowledge and experience of the Entertainment Industry to a new generation of performers in the hope that their careers will be as long and enjoyable as his own.

ELENA & MARIO DE CINQUE

The De Cinque Name is synonymous with the training and tuition of young Australians in Performing Arts. With thirty years of expertise and knowledge, Elena & Mario De Cinque have worked with many generations of young performers and have developed a reputation for producing impeccable talent for the Australian and overseas Entertainment Industry.
 
Elena De 5 Performing Arts Centre was established in 1991 by Elena and Mario De Cinque. The Certificate IV in Performing Arts written by Elena De Cinque commenced in 2001. In 2006, the ED5 Performing Arts Centre was privileged with the partnership of William Forsythe becoming what is known today as ED5 International. In 2011 the two-year Diploma in Performing Arts written by Elena De Cinque replaced the Certificate IV course and is now the Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts.
 
The Director/Principal Elena De Cinque is a qualified Ballet, Tap and Jazz Teacher. She has taught for thirty years, performed and adjudicated nationally and internationally. In 2016 Elena adjudicated at the I LOVE DANCE International Dance Competition in Los Angeles. She has also received the “OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” in 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997 YOUNG AUSTRALIAN OF THE YEAR. Elena is instrumental to the development of the course writing and recently wrote ED5's unique Advanced Diploma. She also holds her qualification in Workplace Training and Assessment.
 
The Director/Secretary Mario De Cinque has been business owner and operator for over twenty five years and his responsibilities in administration are staff, facilities, equipment, student’s practical requirements, accounts, the keeping of all student records and student support. Mario oversees the day to day running of the school and ensures that ED5 International continues its efficient service.
 
During the past three decades of operation, ED5 International has become one of the most prestigious training establishments in Australia built on excellence, honesty, integrity and professionalism with high standards of service and care for both staff and students.
